£6,500 Donation !!

Unfortunately it’s quite rare for the charity to receive large donations, however we are extremely pleased to accept a donation of £6,500 from GWA Supplies.

When GWA formed recently to supply parts and services to the wind turbine industry, they chose Brinsley Animal Rescue as their chosen charity, this generous company donate a portion of their profit to the charity, last year we received £5,000, its amazing that we received even more this year.

Being a charity, we rely totally on donations, we receive no funding from Government, so  large donation such as this one helps us enormously.

The Trustees will meet soon to decide which project on our long list, we’ll put this amazing donation towards.

  • Bunnies Homed

We’ve managed to rehome 7 rabbits at the weekend with another 4 reserved. We’ve had to also turn a lot away as we are always up to full capacity. Over 95% of the rabbits that come into the rescue are never vaccinated and never neutered. This puts huge financial pressures on the rescue to keep…
