Bertie and Beano Rescued and Rehomed

Bertie and Beano came to us a few months ago, bought from a breeder but then given up by the owners after only a few weeks.

We have wormed and vaccinated them and found them a great home in Sheffield where they have loads of room in a large field, a spacious barn and other goats and sheep to keep them company.

Although we have just rehomed these today, there is never any space as we have 3 more coming in tomorrow and several more on our waiting list.

We have to raise between £50 and £200 for every goat we rescue, to pay for castrations, vaccination and worming.

    Heron

We don’t take Herons in very often, when we do they have usually come on the wrong side of man. Often they have been been shot with air rifles, swallowed plastic or tangled up with fishing wire. This chappie though is a bit of a puzzle. Rescued from Attenbourough Natutre Reserve, he came to us all…
