Barn Duck Rescue

Posted by Jon in Rehomed on Saturday 15/09/2012 10:27 +01:00.

Earlier this week we fetched 50 commercial ducks from Worcestershire, that were off for slaughter, these have been factory farmed for their eggs, now at the end of their commercial life they were off for meat.

We have been unable to save over 5,000 that have gone to the slaughter house, but at least these girls will live to the end of their natural life in comfort.

We are now seeking good homes for these. If you would like to add to your ducks or start afreash, please email us with your details.

Please note, ducks must be kept in social groups of at least a pair, they need access to a pond and have a fox proof secure area.
