Traumatised Hoglet

This poor chap arrived this morning with a sad story. Apparently he was put in a hamster ball and kicked around by kids who then threw him into a bin, like a disposable toy. Thankfully he was taken out of the bin by a passerby who then called us.

He’s only 92 grams, he should still be with his mother, lets hope his siblings didn’t go through the same trauma, we hope they are still safe with mum.

He arrived very dehydrated and cold, his life is in the balance.

Thankfully an examination hasn’t revelled any injuries and they are eating and drinking as well as hissing at us!! We are confident they’ll be released in the coming days.

This chappie though is a bit of a puzzle. Rescued from Attenbourough Natutre Reserve, he came to us all…

    Barn Owl RTA

This handsome barn owl came to us a few weeks ago after being involved in a car collision. When we saw that one of the legs was broken we feared the worst as he had no feeling in the leg, but, after we had X-rays carried out and after much discussion with our amazing vet…
