‘Gentle George’ has had a few homes in his time but we hope that this time it is his forever home with his new lady friend. He headed off into the sunshine a couple of weeks ago and is doing really well with someone that is more his own size!

Pigs were very fashionable as pets a few years ago, unfortunately with some people, they treat animals like clothes that go out of fashion.
This young Sparrow Hawk came to us with an injured right wing. Fortunately for this beautiful bird the damage is repairable. The wing is now tied back to allow it to heal, the bird will be kept confined for around 4 weeks before being moved to a large aviary and prepared for release. Update 27 September Today…
Today we rescued some ex-barn hens, we took on 250, unfortunately the remaining 20,000 odd will go for slaughter. These girls came all the way from Norfolk and are ready to be re-homed.
