With 27 acres at 3 sites, miles of fencing, animal enclosures and pens as well as vehicles, there is a lot of maintenance to keep on top of, along with projects and so Maintenance Volunteers provide a vital role with these ongoing repairs. Maintenance Volunteers can be involved in a number of tasks including;
- Fencing repairs and installation
- Repairing or building animal enclosures, aviaries etc
- Repairing and servicing equipment
Requirements
- A good knowledge of general maintenance / DIY and an understanding of heavy duty tools
- Enjoy working around the public and be able to communicate with visitors in a clear and
friendly manne - Relevant and current qualifications may be required for some tasks
