Three Foxes Released

One of the fox cubs we have just successfully released is this chap, he was caught up in kids goal post netting. This kind of netting and garden netting is a threat to wildlife and sadly many perish, thankfully this chap was found in time.

He had been fighting all night to free himself, the plastic cut deep into his skin and also caused external and internal trauma. The internal trauma almost cost him his life as he was really struggling to breath and eat due to swelling.

He was in our animal hospital for several weeks whilst we administer mediation, then it was a few more before he was recovered enough to be put with the other cubs.

Lucky boy, now a free handsome foxy!
