Coconut & Chocolate

Status : Rehomed

About us: We are Coconut and Chocolate, the two “bounty” brothers. We are 9 months old. One is American and the other is more Abyssinian.

Our History: We were both brought from a pet shop and are now unwanted due to a break up in our owners relationship. We came together to the rescue on the 18/3/17.

Our temperament: We have had very little handling at our previous home and would need some work to get used to humans. We have come on in our personality’s since we have arrived, becoming more vocal and hiding less often. Like all pigs, we are very keen on our food and adore parsley!

Our Health: We have had no previous health concerns and have both been castrated.

Type Of Home Wanted: We are looking for a forever home together. We could be integrated with another guinea pig. We would suit a teenager or above due to our skittish behavior. We are being kept indoors at the moment and am looking for a new, spacious home with plenty of toys and love.

Adoption Process: To help the charity cover the cost of keep and neutering, we ask for a minimal donation of £30 for both Coconut and Chocolate. If you think you can offer us a home please get in touch using the details below.

You will need to make an appointment to see the pigs, we are not open to the public. At your appointment you will be able to see the pigs and ask any questions regarding their history, temperament or husbandry. Please bring with you photographic evidence of your set up, a home check may be carried out but we will definitely need to see photos. You may only reserve pigs when seen in person. Please note we do not agree with housing guinea pigs with rabbits due to welfare concerns.
