Come and Celebrate Christmas With The Animals!

Date: Sunday 2nd December

Time: 11am – 4pm

Location: Brinsley Animal Rescue, 69 Hobsic Close, Brinsley, Nottingham, NG16 5AX

Admissions: £1 per adult, accompanied children free


What There Is To Do…..

  • Cakes – Our cakes are arguably the main attraction! Featuring homemade cakes of all shapes, sizes and tastes! Vegan options are available!
  • Drinks – Cold & hot drinks are available at the Rocky Road Cafe. Mulled wine is also available for the adults!
  • Food – The lovely Veggies will be on hand with their famous veggie burgers and samosas to keep you warm. There is also food located at the Parish hall.
  • Stalls – We have a selection of stalls to help you with your chirstmas shopping. From our own Lovely Tails Charity shop to secondhand books, animal sponsorship gifts to even a dedicated pet stall! More stalls are located at the Parish Hall.
  • Raffle & Tombola – The very popular raffle is back with some lovely prizes to be won! Or if the raffle isn’t you thing we also have a tomobola!
  • Meet The Animals – come along and meet the true stars of the rescue. Learn about the animals we rescue and why we put so much hard work into caring for them.

FAQParking? No on site parking. Please park responsibly. Parking Available at the Parish Hall ( Cordy Lane, Brinsley, NG16 5BY) A short walk away from the rescue.

Buses? Trent Barton’s Rainbow 1 From Nottingham to Alfreton passes through Brinsley every 30 mins. Whereas Trent Barton’s Black Cat from Derby To Mansfieldpasses every hour. The Stop you are looking for is ” Broad Lane”. The walk down from the bus stop takes around 10 mins. Walk down Hobsic close till it curves around onto Whitehead Drive on your left. Brinsley Animal Rescue is the last house through the metal gate. Our Sign is on the wooden gates.

Dogs Allowed? Yes, if kept on lead due to the animals. Please clean up after your dog, bins are provided.

Card Machine? Cash is preferable, we do have only one machine.

Disabled Access? Unfortunatly our site struggles to cator for the disabled. We are on a hill, the terrian can be uneven and we do not have disablied facillites such as a modified toilet, ramps or lifts.With this in mind, please visit us at your own discreation.

Child Care Facilities? We are sorry but we do not have the room for baby changing facilities. Please do not leave your children unsupervised and use the hand sanitation areas before leaving or eating. Parents with  buggies please note we are on a hill, the terrian can be uneven and there is no where to store your buggy on site.

What Should I Wear? The weather can be unpredicable and their a few places to shelter under if it does turn for the worse. Please make sure you are dressed for the weather. We do try and clean up as much as possible before the day but it can still be muddy around the site, please bring sensible footwear.

Toliets? Yes port-a-loos are available as well as the volunteer toilet inside the house.

Please Note That You cannot Smoke in the stable yard or in the cafe / rabbit area. Please smoke outside the entrance. Thankyou
