The boys are rehomed
Archie, Benji, Charlie and Dillon were all rescued at one week old, the waste by product of the dairy industry. We took them in and hand reared them, finally they have gone to a great new home in West Yorkshire.

The site has been down the last couple of days due to hosting problems, so we have taken this opportunity to release the new theme.
Swan Rescue
This beautiful swan came to us from Shipley County Park. It had a fishing hook lodged into its body. Following a trip to the vets to have the hook removed, it is now recuperating in a pen on antibiotics and painkillers.
Hand Rearing Squirrels
On 20 August we had three very young squirrels delivered to us, these were found by a member of the public that had disturbed them whilst cleaning a chimney. Unfortunately the mother left her three babies and was too frightened to return. We are now hand rearing all three, this is very time consuming, feeding [...]
Baby Collared Dove
This little chap was brought in by a cat. We are hand rearing him now until he can fend for himself, he will then be released.
Injured Pigeon
This guy has a broken wing, he will have to be suspended in a harness for a couple of weeks in a hospital cage. Then we can remove the bandage supporting his wing, he should then be fit enough to be moved to an aviary to start the rehabilitation process before final release. Update 20 September [...]
Sparrow Hawk
This young Sparrow Hawk came to us with an injured right wing. Fortunately for this beautiful bird the damage is repairable. The wing is now tied back to allow it to heal, the bird will be kept confined for around 4 weeks before being moved to a large aviary and prepared for release. Update 27 September Today [...]
