A rare occasion, baby Stoat rescue

It’s not everyday that we get a call to rescue a baby Stoat, but today is like many other days, full of surprises.

We received a call from Pets Now, they had a baby stoat! He’s now doing well, lapping up mammal rearing milk. Once weaned and feeding himself on meat, we will start the process of preparing him for the wild.

At present we are getting in a lot of wild animals all of which need a lot of care. From dehydrated and flystricken hedgehogs to baby birds that need handrearing.

Today we had in 14 more animals to feed and treat.  We are really reaching our limits in terms of funding as many of these animals need veterinary treatment and specialist food.  Please consider donating so that we can continue with our work.
