Sunshine was a beautiful French lop. He is now called Sonny Jim and appears to have a great new home with a great girlfriend.
Having felt quite pleased with ourselves for recently homing lots of rabbits and guinea pigs we have now had a sudden influx of them. Next weekend we have over 20 rabbits and guinea pigs coming in to the rescue centre. We are trying to get all the bunnies neutered and vaccinated as soon as possible so that they can go to new homes. Please get in touch if you are looking to adopt bunnies. (more…)
Prince (now called Henry) found a fabulous home with some ex-bats and another couple of girls. Prince had a powerful pair of lungs on him and is probably going to prove to be the best alarm call in Lambley! (Sorry residents of Lambley)!! Prince was found in a ditch so what a happy ending this majestic looking lad has now got.

Chico was a little bit nervous but now he has a loving new home with a vet nurse as well as 2 new friends – Sparkle and Hector (also from Brinsley Animal Rescue!) According to the vet Chico means ‘little’ in Spanish so it was appropriate that he had that name. Chico did have some dental work carried out so it is reassuring that he has found a home in good hands who will keep an eye on this issue.
Today we rescued another 100 battery hens. We had hoped to rescue at least 200 however we have been limited, thankfully because they have homes. (more…)
This week we have taken on yet another unwanted pig. She came with the name Charlotte but as we already have a pony with the same name we have renamed her Penny. Yesterday we set about introducing her to Rocky our Kune Kune pig thinking that he might like a friend. Unfortunately he didn’t take too kindly to sharing his house and seemed quite upset by this potential new friend. (more…)
